Heroes for Palestine include Umar ibn Al-Khattab, the second Caliph who liberated Jerusalem in 637, and Nuruddin Zengi, a great defender of Islam against the Crusaders. Zengi built the historic minbar (pulpit) that Salahuddin later installed and used in Al Aqsa, when he liberated Jerusalem from the Crusaders. How did Salahuddin establish his generation spiritually, politically, socially, economically, and materially?
