Palestinian Refugees and Prisoners: a Political, and Legal Look

Zionism has established its state on the ruins of hundreds of Palestinian villages and towns, whose indigenous inhabitants were forced to flee their homeland. This ethnic cleansing resulted in one of the largest and longest-lasting refugee crises in recent history. On the other hand, tens of thousands of Palestinians who stayed in Palestine have been jailed by the Israeli occupation over the last six decades. Today, nearly 7,000 Palestinian political prisoners are being held in Israeli jails. This session will shed light on the political and legal dimension of these two issues.
