We’re in the midst of a presidential election cycle and there’s no shortage of right-wing candidates spewing hateful comments about Islam and Muslims. This rhetoric feeds Islamophobia and spurs on hate-crimes against Muslims. What are Countering Violent Extremism programs and are they good for the Muslim community?
