In 2011, there was great hope the region would be reformed through the efforts of peaceful pro-democracy activists. But now several years later, the Arab Spring is a distant memory and millions are languishing in failed states or under brutal dictatorships. How do we make sense of the recent developments throughout the Middle East and what does it mean for peace and justice?
