In this workshop we seek to unpack the common accusation leveled against anyone who speaks for Palestinian rights. The common arguments against BDS and student activism is that they’re ‘anti-Semitic’ or they’re ‘creating an unsafe environment’ or ‘delegitimizing Israel.’ We will discuss how to deal with the three “Ds”: delegitimization, demonization, double-standard, and how to push back.
