Dr. Ahmad Tibi is a Palestinian member of the Knesset. Dr. Tibi is the leader of the Arab Movement for Change (Ta'al), and he is also a member of the Arab List. Dr. Tibi currently is pushing for a new Basic Law calling for “a full civic partnership and recognition of Arabs as a national minority.” He rose to prominence after serving as a political advisor to the late Palestinian president Yasser Arafat. Dr. Tibi is also a trained physician.
