Mohamed Soltan, is an Egyptian-American activist. Mr. Soltan graduated from Ohio State University in 2012 and was arrested with other Egyptian journalists in Cairo in 2013. Mohamed spent 21 months in Egyptian prisons, 16 of which he went on a hunger strike to protest his illegal detainment. Mr. Soltan has dedicated his life to advocate for freedom, democracy and social justice.
